Life Update: Jan 8 2013

Hello to the few who actually read this silly little blog that I have created. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just thought I should give a little update on how things are going for me; so far job wise, I have been ‘referred’ (my resume sent too) both Katmai National Park and Preserve in Alaska, and Glacier National Park in Montana. Click the park’s name to check them out!

I’m in a conundrum, I’m not sure how I feel about either of them, but there are other personal issues that are taking a major impact on my decision making. I’m just tired of being by myself traveling to these places.

I’ll work it out somehow.

Oh! I’ve started in on my ‘learn sign language’ goal, and so far it has been quite entertaining. My family is enjoying me trying to sign too them. ๐Ÿ™‚ I got three different books at my local library about sign language, and common phrases to learn. I also found this great website. (That I do believe is free! Don’t take my word on it though, haha)ย Check it out! “American Sign Language University

I checked out a book on Theodore Roosevelt and I have been enjoying it so far! It’s a big book, so it will be quite awhile before I can tell ya more about it. Haha!
The Wilderness Warrior Theodore Roosevelt And The Crusade For America
By: Douglas Brinkley

BUT: there is one quote I wish to share with you, because it made me laugh. Theodore Roosevelt was known for being a conservationist, but also for the thrill of big game hunting. Apparently he liked it so much that he had named the trophy heads he had on display!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Bhahahahahaha! Makes me laugh so much. Haha, now for the quote. “Boom (an elk), Pow-Pow (a buffalo head stuffed for library display), and Pop-Pop-Pop (a massive 28-point black tail buck head spanning more than fifty inches) were his to showcase.

And well, that’s my life so far. Not too exciting, still unemployed because I’m lazy, just sleeping and hanging out with siblings.
