I know I haven’t written in a while, I have struggled with how to write my experience this winter at Mesa Verde. As I sit here in the office I am surrounded by the busy hum of the new seasonals on their week of training. I will admit, I’m feeling a little tinge of sadness that I’m leaving. Whenever I am the new seasonal to a park; I hate the first weeks of training, trying to feel normal in a place where you have to learn everything. However, as I watch how excited these guys are to be here….. I remember that feeling as well.

My winter here at Mesa Verde was a great experience. Visitation was low, I had a lot of time to work on projects, and create relationships with coworkers. I know during the season I struggled a lot; it was hard to find the positives. Now however as I look back, I have lots of fond memories.

I meet some great people who recognized me from here, Facebook, or Instagram. You’re kind words of how you enjoy following me have given me encouragement. I appreciate you all.

This winter I also did a guest blog, and a few interviews. You should check them out below!

After you read those, the only thing left to know about me is that I’m addicted to chocolate chip cookies and my favorite color is orange.
There, now you know all about me!

My Jeep (Izzy) is packed to the brim again, and her and I start on our own adventure to Yellowstone tonight. I’ll try to post when I can, but if you have Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook…. that’s a good way to get a quick update from me.
