Have you realized that in the last two weeks there have been four different oil spills throughout the US? Ranging from 375 gallons to 150,000 gallons spilled. All of this happening around the 25th Anniversary of the Exxon Valdez oil spill in the Gulf of Alaska; March 24th, 1989. The Exxon Valdez was an oil tanker that stretched 987 feet/300 meters in length, and was first launched in 1986. So much rain! Day 1 driving to Mesa Verde

Can I just say that I’m exhausted? This 12 hour day turned into a 14 hour day. But: my mom and I were looking for an adventure, and we found one! We wanted to go on a southern more route to Mesa Verde, since we had never been to Kansas. Well, we can check it off our list! We are staying the night near Salina, Kansas. It was crazy getting here.
